“ASIAN HALAL FOOD EXPO 2008” AND “MEGA BIG BAZAAR”

 

For the 1 st time in history, Singapore Silat Federation is collaborating with MegaXpress Communications Pte Ltd for the Asian Halal Food Expo 2008 and Mega Big Bazaar. This is the ONLY show that reaches out to the Muslim market, showcasing the latest halal-certified food and food-related products & services, from foreign and local manufacturers / suppliers.

Visitors and exhibitors to our shows can expect a wide variety and range of Halal related products such as;

The event will kick off from the 14 th to 17 th August 2008 , 4 days in a row at Singapore Expo Hall 5 from 10am-10pm . There will be more than 200 booths for vendors to showcase their Halal products and services. The event also will stage star-studded performances from local and neighbouring countries. The expected turnout for the event is estimated at 70,000!

The organiser of the event, Mega Express, has kindly agreed to designate Singapore Silat Federation as one of the main beneficiaries of the event. The funds collected from the programmes and activities of the event will be channelled to Singapore Silat Federation's programmes and development of Pencak Silat at the Asian Games and the Olympics. It will also be used for the development of Pencak Silat on a global scale through the “Silat Goes Global” programme.

Singapore Silat Federation will be supporting the event with volunteers from all walks of life. These 400 hardworking volunteers will be supporting the whole event on their own time and goodwill. They comprise our athletes and practioners of Silat who are passionate about keeping the tradition and sport of Pencak Silat alive. We hope you too will be inspired to do your part for the love of Pencak Silat as a tradition and sport that brings honour and glory not just to the community but the country.

PROMOTION & ADVERTISING

The expected visitors to turn out throughout the whole event will be around 50,000 people. In return for your kind sponsorship, we will promote your company to the masses through the following channels:

  • Company name & logo in the newspaper ads prior to the event
  • Display of logo, company name and poster at our designated pavilion located at the heart of the event hall and on our website.
