The 12th Belgian Open ran from 21st to 23rd April 2006. The cold temperatures in Brussels could not stop our hot athletes from performing at their peak. Our two elite athletes, Saiedah (Female, 'B' class) and Zulfakar (Male, Class 'C') delivered what was expected of them with each grabbing a gold medal. Chipping in was Md Saifullah (Male, Class 'D') and Rifdi (Male Class ''B'), each coming up tops in their respective classes.

Our 2003 SEA Games gold medallist, Yusoff Shah Khamarudin (Male, Class 'I') deilvered with a silver.So did Ridzuan Bin Omar (Male Class 'G'). Our reigning Sportsboy of th year, Md Saifuddin (Male Class 'E') came home with the bronze in his class.
