Rafili Best Sportsman as Singapore romps to victory as in UK International Pencak Silat Championships

Md Noor Rafili bin Md Ramli, elder brother to silat star Zulfakar, was the toast of the championships as he was named Best Sportsman. The rest of the squad did our nation proud with an impressive haul of 5 golds , 7 silvers, 5 bronzes. Zulfakar, not be too overshadowed by elder brother, won the gold in his category (Match Class 'C'). The other golds came from Saifuddin, Rafili, Yusoff Shah, Syaiful. Here is overall medal lisiting (all match categories unless otherwise stated): Gold - Zulfakar, Saifuddin, Rafili, Yusoff Shah, Syaiful. Silver - Zahid (Artistic Male Single) Norishah (Artistic Female Single), Shikeen, Saiedah, Ainul, Rifdi, Saifullah. Bronze - Artistic Female Team, Nur Dinniyati, Asadullah, Ridzuan, Razif. Congratulations to Team Singapore! Keep on bringing home the golds! |
